Number Sense – Educational iPhone App

N

In "Booster Balls", you catch falling balls and count from 1 to 30 in groups of 10. Once you've got the balls, you feed them to the monster. Zach loved this one the most.

"Do The Dotty" is the online version of connect the dots. Once you've got the picture drawn, it's fills in with color (that you can change).

In "Numberella" you are asked to compare numbers from 1 to 10 - either picking out the biggest or smallest number in the group shown.

In "Fishoonka" you move fish around from one side to the other and learn "greater than" and "less than" comparisons in the process. This was another game that Zach really enjoyed.

"Toot Toot Train" teaches addition and subtraction while you add and remove cars from the train.

I thought this game was really well done and did a good job of balancing fun and learning. Here is a preview video of the game. If you’d like to read more about the app, you can do so on their website.
