Once upon a time, this blog might have been considered a typical “mommy-blog”, then it was a “TTC” blog… now? It’s a puppy blog. Give in to the cuteness!!!

The first picture is of the three we like the most. In order of preference: The chocolate, then the black, then the cream. The second picture is a close up of the black puppy. We love his cute little white chin. He also has a splash of white on his belly. Decisions! Decisions! Truthfully though, they’re all WAY TOO CUTE. When we meet them later this month, we’ll be able to see what kind of personalities they have. That will really be the deciding factor.

    I’ve had four vizsla puppies over the last seventeen years, and with the help of a breeder on the last three, we were able to get very good personality matches for our family. She uses the ubiquitously used Volhard Puppy Aptitude Test (http://www.volhard.com/pages/pat.php), which is done at 49 days, to match puppies with families. That may not be workable for you, but a quick tip is — the personality traits exhibited by puppies when they are with their littermates and when separated from them (as they will be when you take one home) can be vastly different. So before making a final decision, you may want to spend some “alone” time with each puppy you are considering. I hope this is helpful and have fun!
